Lead Instrument Designer

The Lead  Instrument Designer is responsible for

  • Developing of key documents (layouts and termination drawings, loop and system diagrams) 
  • To evaluate technical bids gathering information from Client and Vendors
  • To use standard specifications, methods procedures throughout a project
  • Use computer programmes, which improve or simplify the design
  • Verifying of existing equipment
  • Preparing of input Basis for Design documents, reporting findings, recommendations and solutions
  • Attending meetings with client and vendors, attending inter-disciplinair meetings
  • To prepare IDCs (Inter-discipline checks)

Long term

OHC/HNC or MTS Electrical or Instrumentation

Preferably 5 years experience in a design environment
